Angkasa Pura II has earned the trust of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to manage and run the business of the Jakarta Cengkareng Airport, which is now the Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, since 13 August 1984.

The existence of Angkasa Pura II began with the name of Perum Pelabuhan Udara Jakarta Cengkareng by virtue of Government Regulation No. 20 year 1984. Then on 19 May 1986 by the virtue of Government Regulation No. 26 year 1986 the name was changed to Perum Angkasa Pura II. Subsequently, on 17 March 1992 by the virtue of Government Regulation No. 14 year 1992 the status was changed to a state-owned limited liability company (Persero). As the company was run, on 18 November 2008, based on Notary Deed No. 38 Year 2008 of Notary Silvia Abbas Sudrajat, SH, SpN. the name was officially changed to PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero).

Angkasa Pura II was established to manage and run the business of airport and airport-related services by optimizing the potential of Company`s resources and the implementation of good corporate governance practices. And this, in turn, will generate products and services of high quality and strong competitiveness so as to increase the Company`s value and the public`s trust.

In its 28 years of being in business, Angkasa Pura II showed rapid progress and improvement in the business of airport services through the addition of various facilities and infrastructures and the improvement in service quality of the airports under its management.

Until 2015, Angkasa Pura II managed 12 Airports, namely the Soekarno-Hatta (Jakarta), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Polonia (Medan), Supadio (Pontianak), Minangkabau (Padang), Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Sultan Iskandarmuda (Banda Aceh), Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjungpinang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi) dan Depati Amir (Pangkalpinang). Angkasa Pura II also provides flight information services for Jakarta`s airspace (Flight Information Region/FIR).

During the last 5 (five) years, Angkasa Pura II achieved various awards from several agencies. The awards were a form of public`s appreciation to the Company`s performance in its service. Some of the awards were The Best BUMN in Logistics Sector from the Ministry of State Owned Enterprise (2004-2006), The Best I in Good Corporate Governance (2006), the 1st Rank in the Annual Report Award 2007 in the category of BUMN Non-Finance Non-Listed, and as Best and Trusted BUMN in Good Corporate Governance in the Corporate Governance Perception Index 2007 Award. At the end of 2009, Angkasa Pura II was again granted some awards including the 1st rank of The Best Non Listed Company by Anugerah Business review 2009, the World`s 2nd Most on Time Airport for the Soekarno-Hatta Airport by Forbestraveller.com, and the 3rd rank in the Annual Report Award 2009 in the category of BUMN Non-Finance Non- Listed.

During the Japanese occupation, AVB was changed into Syomin Ginko.

After the Japanese defeat in the Second World War and Indonesia’s independence, the Indonesian Government once again changed the name to Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) on February 22, 1946. Based on Government Regulation No. 1 of 1946, BRI became the first bank to be owned by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.

As a state-owned bank, Bank BRI played a key role in realizing the government’s vision in the development of people’s economy. In 1960, the government change BRI’s name into Bank Koperasi dan Nelayan (BKTN). Based on Law No.21 of 1968, the government renamed the bank BRI and it became a public bank. Later, based on Banking Law No.7 of 1992, BRI had its name and legal status of its entity changed to PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero). With a focus on micro, small and medium businesses, BRI has inspired a lot of other organizations to empower the businesses in these sectors as they are the backbone of the Indonesian economy.

On November 10, 2003, Bank BRI became a publicly listed company and the government divested 30% of its shares to the public. Since the Go Public, the price of BRI’s shares have always increased and are now included in the Blue Chips shares belonging to the LQ45 group. Program magang ke Jepang terkini 2015, Program pengiriman pekerja magang dari Indonesia ke Jepang yang difasilitasi IMM, dimulai sejak tahun 1993, dan sampai akhir tahun 2009, telah mengirim 29,587 orang. Saat ini, jumlah peserta program magang jepang dari Indonesia di Jepang sebanyak 5,668 orang, yang sebagian besar ditempatkan di perusahaan manufaktur.

Saat ini, IMM menyalurkan para peserta magang jepang dari Indonesia ke 850 perusahaan anggotanya di Jepang; Dan program pemagangan ke jepang ini bersifat gratis. program ini bukan tki (kerja di luar negeri) tapi pemagangan (belajar sambil bekerja/bekerja sambil belajar), peserta tidak dipungut biaya untuk kepentingan pengurus, program magang imm sama sekali tdk memungut biaya pendaftaran, adapun biaya yang diperlukan semuanya untuk keperluan pribadi peserta sendiri, seperti pembuatan pasport, medical checkup, biaya hidup selama proses seleksi, biaya hidup di pelatihan tahap 1, transport dari daerah ke pusat, airport tax, visa, biaya rongent pra pemberangkatan, dan uang saku awal untuk keperluan pribadi peserta di jepang.
